Petition to my State Senator and State Representative:

Whereas: The Right of the People to keep and bear arms is protected both by the U.S. Constitution and the Constitution of the State of Florida; and,

Whereas: The individual right to carry a firearm for self-defense is an unalienable right, recognized as a preexisting right by the Supreme Court of the United States; and,

Whereas: The current permitting system as it exists in the State of Florida is an undue burden on law-abiding citizens attempting to exercise that right; and,

Whereas: Statistical data collected by both the Centers for Disease Control and the Federal Bureau of Investigation has shown that restricting law-abiding citizens' right to keep and bear arms only serves to increase violent crime;

Therefore: I respectfully urge you as my elected official to publicly support, co-sponsor, and vote for Constitutional Carry legislation in Florida. Florida Gun Rights will keep me informed about your votes and actions.

Fellow Patriot,

It’s absolutely unacceptable that law-abiding Floridians must still beg the government to exercise their God-given right to self-defense.

That’s why Florida Gun Rights will be making a full push to force public roll call votes on Constitutional Carry during the 2020 legislative session!

You see, Floridians should not have to jump through a bunch of bureaucratic hoops to exercise their right to keep and bear arms.

Unfortunately, the politicians in Tallahassee don't see it that way.

They would rather talk a big game about supporting the Second Amendment but do nothing to pass meaningful legislation that actually advances our gun rights.

So please sign your Constitutional Carry petition below urging your elected officials to pass this landmark pro-gun reform during the 2020 legislative session.

Thank you for all you do to advance our Second Amendment rights.

For Freedom,
